Sam Rivers

The EMIT has been very fortunate to have Sam Rivers appear in concert seven times during the past 14 years.  Sam is a legendary figure in creative music and jazz.  He lives in Orlando now where he has had a tremendous impact on the music scene statewide.

He has performed on the EMIT series with his trio (on several occasions), Fluid Motion (a quintet), his quartet (Dalifest and and the Hickman Theater) and even dropped by to perform a duo with Evan Parker.
